Trés Styles isn't a performer you hire — he's an experience you invest in. A Michigan-born MC, DJ, and music producer with over two decades in the game, he has built a reputation that speaks before he ever picks up a mic: commanding, versatile, and relentlessly professional.
As a founding member of Athletic Mic League (AML) — alongside Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Mayer Hawthorne and acclaimed producer 14KT — Trés helped shape the sound of Ann Arbor and Detroit hip-hop in the late '90s and early 2000s. AML earned a legendary moment when a freestyle battle segment aired on Stretch & Bobbito's influential WKCR radio show in New York, a session that also featured a then-unknown Eminem — a story that quietly shaped the trajectory of everyone in that room.
As a solo artist recording as 3Steez, Trés is currently releasing The Lover & The Fighter — a three-volume solo trilogy produced primarily by 14KT. Volume 1, Ninja, is available now on all streaming platforms. Volume 2, Ronin, is in final stages. Volume 3, Samurai, is planned. The trilogy explores themes of identity, resilience, and artistry through the lens of the warrior-artist archetype.
From Detroit's most electric club nights to festival main stages alongside ?uestlove, Kool DJ Red Alert, and Stretch Armstrong — and from Forekast production credits spanning two decades of independent Michigan hip-hop — Trés brings a depth of craft and cultural fluency that no ordinary entertainment service can replicate.
The opening chapter. Identity, discipline, and the quiet confidence of someone who's been training in the shadows. Produced by 14KT.
